Background

Meaning

Sri Krishna Das Murgod is fairly well known to the Satvikas of Karnataka .Especially in North (Uttara) Karnataka Murgod Das has  knocked the houses after houses. Perfomed Bhajana as per our Dwaita Philosophy-Taaratamya-Panchabheda .His voice is superb. All the Padas-Songs -Sulaadis of Dasa are all in his mouth, sings by heart.  We feel as though  he has crammed up all these great Literary works. Murgod Das is a Great Devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru, always singing with complete involvement. Through his melodious Bhajan ALWAYS UPHELD Hari Sarvottama Vayu Jeevottama and the greatness of  the noble Dwaita Pontiffs.

Murgod Das a sober personality with long bear, Gandha,Akshatae Angaara.Taala,Chitige,Tamboori in the hands-singing in the realm of reality forgets himself in the Divine
Vicinity.Murgod Dasa’s routine is full of Sanctity. He has taken all the  Devotees in the folds of Mantralaya and showered the Blessings of Mantralaya Mandira.Thus gained the fullest Anugraha of our  Rayaru.

Murgod Krishna Das  never aspired for name-fame and wealth. With a selfless motive worked in this Devotional field of Bhajana. Since  Sixty years i.e.more than half a century his Bhajana is quite familiar to all. He has seen the Mantralaya-Mantralaya Yatra in those days and the Folk song to go to Mantralaya by walk and Bullock cart from Tungabhadra
Railway Station  and described Rayaru-Rayara Seva so touchy.His Bhajana Chandrika has published fourteen times and more than 70,000/ Copies of Bhajana Chandrika are in the hands of Satvikas today.

Mantralaya Rayaru a great lover of Music-Veena Venkatabhattaru hereditarily well versed and expert in Music. Rayara Matha Swamiji His Holiness Sri Sushameendrateertharu,the Siddhi Pontiff-who is popularly believed  as the Avataara of Appanacharya,Sir Thomas Munro and Karjagi Dasaru-has felicitated all the men of letters. Rayara Matha – Vidya Matha has always given Maana-Sanmaana to the Pandits,artists and literary persons.  Thus Continued  the protection and encouragement to the
good and the Noble cause.

The greatest achievement of Murgod  Das in his life is that this year Sri Sushameendrateertharu Felictated Murgod Krishna Das in Mantralaya and presented the most sacred Ankita of our Mantralaya Raghavendrateertharu  VENUGOPALAVITHALA to Murgod Das. This shows how Murgod Das is too dear to Rayaru and how Kind is our Sri Sushameendrateertharu to confer this greatest honour. What more is required in life. Our Mantralaya Parimalacharya,Gururaya, Chandrikacharya is too affectionate to the Bhajana Chandrika Man, Murgod Krishna Das. We are all happy,proud and bent with Gratitude.It is my Privilege and Punya to quote in  the Series of  Mantralaya(100).
