Sri Akshobhyateertharu anxiously waiting for the
arrival of the great Chetana, as per the wordings of Sri Anandateertharu at
Sandhyavali on the bank of Bheema, the Poorvaashrama of this great
Chetana(Jaiteertharu) are described in Jaiteertha Vijaya(6).
The count down of hours and minutes for the arrival of
the great Soul as per the wordings of Sri Madacharya was not a man like others.
In the 13th.century,the protection of our Sacred Hindu
Culture was done by the kings of Vijayanagara Empire. Several Chieftains,
Jahagirdars and Deshpandes etc. have all rendered their yeoman service in
protecting
our
Culture to the Kings of Vijayanagara.Deshpandes actually lived like kings.
Their contribution is remembered in the pages of our history of our
Culture.
Our Sri Jaiteertharu was born in such Deshpande family.
Mangalavedhe
is only 15miles distance from Pandharapur.There Raghunath Deshpande and
Sow.Sakhu bai a noble couple lived.Devotees of Sri Panduranga Vithala of
Pandharapur. After a long Prayer this Satvika Couple gave birth to a male
Child. Named the Child as Dhonduraya- let the child live like

As per the Family Tradition Raghunath Deshpande gave
the training of Horse Riding and all the War Techniques to his son Dhonduraya.
Youth Dhonduraya with his Impressing Personality and Chivalry became very Famous in Mangalavedhe. The parents were too Proud and Happy to see Dhonduraya.
They
thought of Marriage, Searched the Girl and did with all Pomp and Show as per
the Status of Deshpande Family. Dhonduraya was Arjuna-Indramisha lived in the
Janma of Bullock(Vrashabha) with Shreemadacharya,
heard Satsanga, Sachhastra were all hidden in some Corner of heart.
One Day Dhonduraya was crossing the River Bheema riding
the Horse along with his Soldiers. He felt too Thirsty.
Sitting on the Horse Dhonduraya drank the
River
Water with his Mouth like a Bullock (Pashu) without using his hands. Shree
Akshobhya Teertharu saw this scene and uttered in Sanskrit with Loud “Kim Pashuhu Poorvadehe”
In the previous Janma Had you been a Beast? (Pashu).
After
Hearing this Dhonduraya Stunned and Remembered his Previous Janmas –
Arjuna,-Sri Bheemasena Devaru-Sri Madacharyaru,Vrashabharoopa
and all. Immediately Bowed to Sri Akshobhya Teertharu
and requested for Yati Ashrama.Akshobhya Teertharu’s
Joy knew no bonds, Remembered Sri Moola Rama Devaru and Shree Anand Teertharu.
Though Sri Akshobhya Teertharu asked Dhonduraya to get the Permision of the
Elders.Dhonduraya did not listen and happily became Yati by Akshobhya
Teertharu.
