This is the Sanyasi Katti ( the rock ) in the middle of TungaBhadra river. This is the place where Rayaru and Appanacharya used to sit after lunch

 

Rayaru liked Dal chatni very much. Appanacharya used to prepare the Dalchatni  by grinding the Dal in this grinder. In kannada it is called Rubugundu
