PART - 8

Long intense Tapasya of Sonduru Sri Krishnavadhootaru

Date : March 30 2010

Background

Chaitra Shukla Poornima is called as Chitra Poornima and Davanada Hunnime. At Hampi the Rathhotsava of Sri Virupakshadevaru will be held with grandeur and devotion which is attended by thousands of devotees.

Special Pooja and Vayustuti Purascharna and Honey Abhisheka to Sri Yantroddhaaraka at Chakrateerthha in Hampi on this day of Sri Hanumat Jayanti.

Vaasinam Chakrateerthasya Dakshinasthha Girow Sadaa
Tungambodhi Tarangasya Vaatena Parishobhitae.

Through out the world Sri Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated.

There is a proverb in Kannada : Hanumana Gudiyillada Uoorilla it means there is no village or town without the temple of Sri Praanadevaru.

Our Ibharamapura's Appavaru on this day only by a Miracle showed the Rathotsava to a small girl in Ibharamapura. Girl was crying that her parents went to Hampi and did not take her to the Utsava. Appa listened and asked her to accompany him and climbed the terrace. Asked her to close her eyes, Appa placed his right hand on her head. Asked see the Hampi Jaatra. The girl with joy said yes, I am seeing the Hampi Rathotsava and my parents are there only in Hampi.

This is the Power of the Devotees of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu.

Agamy Mahima Lokae Raghavendro Maha Yashaaha

Our Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru has rightly said.

Sri Hanumat Jayanti is also celebrated on this day only. Early morning swami took birth from the punyagarbha of Anjanadevi after a long Tapasya at the sanctum of Akaashaganga on the abode of Tirumala.

One more speciality is that on this day only falls the Poorvaradhana of  our Chalisuva Rayaru Sri Sushameendrateertharu. On the day of Chitra Poornima only Pratipada entered.  Chaitra Bahula Bidige is Madhyaaraadhane. Trateeya Uttaraaradhane. It is quite interesting to know that Sri Badadha Ramacharyaru  the Vamshasthharu of Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru has composed and distributed the holy pamphlets containing the photo of Sri Rayaru and Sri Sushameendrateertharu with Siddhi Mantra:

||BICHALI JAPADAKATTI SRI APPANACHARYA PRIYA MANTRALAYA
   SRI SUSHAMEENDRATEERTHA GURUBHYO NAMAHA||

This is quite appropriate to remember that Sri Sujayeendrateertharu gave the Sanyasa Ashrama to Sri Sushameendrateertharu at the sanctum of Bichali Japadakatti in front of Sri Sripadarajaru Pratishthhaapita Sri Narasimhadevaru - Sri Vyasaraya Pratishthhaapita Sri Praanadevaru - Sri Jitamitrateertharu Pratishthhaapita Sri Sheshadevaru - Sri Rayaru Pratishthhaapita Sri Praanadevaru and  Bichali Sri Appanacharya Praishthhaapita  Rayara Ekshila Brindavana. Vey holy and sacred full of Siddhi where we find the Punya and Siddhi which amounts to more than one lakh.

So H.H.Sri Sushameendrateertharu  the 38th.pontiff from Sri Madhwacharyaru became popular and Siddhi Mahimavanta as:

Chalisuva Rayaru Nadedaaduva Rayaru.

On behalf of all the Mantralaya Devotees of the world I express my sincere and honest gratitude to our Vamshasthharu Sri Badadha Ramacharya for this noble act on this auspicious day.

Also on Trateeya the Aradhana of Sri Vaageeshateertharu the Ninenth pontiff at the holy sanctum of Navavrundavana Anegundi, the Guru of Sri Ramachandrateertharu who was the tenth pontiff from our Sri SriMadacharyaru.

So very holy, sacred  and  auspicious to the Devotees of Mantralaya.

Mantralaya Rayaru pleased for the devotion and the long intense Tapasya of Sonduru Muddukrishnacharya at the Shambhunatha cave in Hampi and offered Pratayaksha Darshana and Blessed to remain as Avadhoota - Krishnavadhoota are described here in SRI KRISHNAVADHOOTARU(8)

Meaning

Muddukrishnacharya altogether became a new man, found a new bliss. Simply immersed in the Bhakti of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrasteertharu and became Avadhoota by the Anugraha of Rayaru and became popular as Sri Krishnavadhootaru. The rhythmic flow of the Sacred Tungabhadra inspired Spontaneous Chaitanya  to do something good and noble work that the world should remember always. Actually Krishnavadhootaru has a strong desire to become a Sanyasi. But Rayaru asked him not to take Sanyasa. Live in this Gruhasthhashrama and lead a sober ,  pious married life - Anukoola Daampatya and do the welfare of the devotees and the satvikas. Krishnavadhootaru obeyed the sandesha of Rayaru and promised that he will follow the guidelines of Bhikshaalaya -  Bichali Japadakatti Appanacharyaru. The  vast knowledge, rich vocabulary of Sanskrit language, imagination - Pratibha, Ashukavitva - spontaneous overflow of  creativity inspired  this great devotee Sri Krishnavadhootaru  to compose valuable books - Granthha Rachana. Mainly the Avatara of Sri Krishnavadhootaru was to compose the books on Rayaru to describe the glory and the greatness of Siddhi of Rayaru to the whole world.

Krishnavadhootaru has said in his book Eehaamruga:

Gururajaha Swapne Pranavakalpa Pustakam Pradaayaa
Mahyam Upadidesha
Tataha Karma Sanysamabhilashaami Guruhu
Anna Paana Shoshana Paraadheenena Kim Phalam
Sanyasena Vishayeshta Avadhooto Bhaveti Pranavam Upadishati.

From Eehaamrugi we understand that Krishnavadhootaru was anxious to opt Sanyasa but Rayaru averted this asked to continue the family life as Avadhoota Saadhaka and should Chant Pranava Mantra always.

In the Pampakshetra Hampi at the Shambhunatha cave after acquiring the Pratyaksha Darshana and Anugraha of Sri Raghavendrateertharu Krishnavadhootru's joy knew no bonds. Expressed his gratitude towards the affection of Rayaru, to the Shambhunatha Cave, Chakrateerthha Yantroddhaaraka and Hampi Virupaksha. Spent eight years at this Siddhi Sanctum and became Avadhoota, very dear to Mantralaya Yatiraat. Decided  to go to Adoni and start a Sanskrit Paathha Shaala. Offered the golden opportunity to all the learners of Sanskrit irrespective of caste, creed, religion and nation. This shows the broad mind, the kind concern that even the weaker section of the society also should learn Sanskrit and know the importance of rich heritage and culture. We are amazed to know the magnanimity of Avadhootaru.Hats off to this great personality and a great Devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru. The Adoni Sanskrit Paathha Shaala was equal to the Open University of Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru.

Owing to the Anugraha and the devotion to Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya Krishnavadhoota became altogether a new  divine Chetana and acquired Aparokshagnyana. At one time Sri Krishnavadhootaru was completely involved in worldly life and indulged in Vaamaachaara. But by the Anugraha of Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharyaru

                        and

Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu

transformed into a great Bhaktashiromani and Bhaktaagresara. The whole idea, thought ,action and knowledge  fully sprinkled with Sri Acharya philosophy, thus blossomed and spread the fragrance of Dwaita Siddhanta Bhakti through the book of all times Siddhi Granthha, for that great task only his birth took place as told by Bichali Japadakatti Sri Appanacharya and Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Krishnavadhootaru with his   universal outlook, broad mind, magnanimity  proved himself worthy  of Bhaktaanugraha Premi Rayaru and Appanaryaru. This scholar great scholar on the bank of the sacred Tungabhadra shined with all the finest qualities by the Grace of Sri Raghavendrateertharu.

Krishnavadhootaru hither to was a scholar pandit in the Royal Court of Sondur but now by the Anugraha of Rayaru became world famous Vishwa Vikhyaata. Even to this day there are many devotees worshipping Rayaru as per Sri Raghavendra Tantra and also Sri Raghavendra Aksharamaala and have attained Siddhi in life. Thus our greatest Devotee Sri Krishnavadhoota enhanced the balance of Punya.Krishnavadhootaru now as per the advice of Rayaru left the idea of Sanyasa, satisfied with Avadhoota and lead a worldly family life with his second wiofe Rukmini in the house. Lived like a lotus in the lake.

At this juncture a Miracle happened in his life. One day night in his dream his adopted father Sri Belakoti Bheemasenacharya appeared and gave hima a Saligraama and advised Datta Mantra and asked him to worship Sri Dattatreya. It is quite amazing that that Krishnavadhooatru's joy knew no bonds when he saw the Saligraama in his hand in the morning. Sri Datta is the Avataara of Sri Hari Sri Hara and Sri Brahma. Worship and enlighten the Divine Bhakti of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu as Rayaru is highly coordinative and compliance to the cult of Bhakti of Datta. Thus Krishnachara Muddukrishnacharya proved worthy as Sri Krishnavadhootaru. One more speciality of this great Chetana is strictly followed and adhered what ever our Rayaru and Appanaryaru has advised. All the belief, faith, affection proved fruitful in the Rachana of the Siddhi Grantham Sri Raghavendra Tantra.
